We should all know what Misogyny is. Misogyny is the dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women. We hear this word often enough that we have a clear cut understanding of what it is. Feminism is more misunderstood. Being a feminist is often laden with baggage and associated with stereotypes. One of the more serious misunderstandings is that Feminism means you hate men or want them killed. This is not true. Feminism is the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes. Now there are people who do hate men and think they should be killed. This is not Feminism and this is not being a 'Feminazi'. There is a proper term for this however. Misandry is the dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against men.

Pratt Institute is a very expensive College in New York that apparently really wants me to join them. They are also one T away from being a British insult. Prat noun  informal 1. British an incompetent, stupid, or foolish person; an idiot 2. A person's butt A little education for you. Anyway this is the second time Pratt has sent me a letter. I really want to go too. The first time they sent me a letter the big, bold, yellow letters stood out to me: First to enter my mind was the thought "Who are you calling a prat!?" I was rather offended at first. I legitimately thought (for a very brief moment) that someone had sent me a letter purely to insult me. Looking at the address just confused me, who in Brooklyn New York thinks I'm a prat. Well evidently Pratt Institute thinks that I am Pratt material. I think I'm a Pratt too. The Good: My grand-mere offered to pay for me to go to College. I like words. I like reading them, writing them, speaking them, and learning new ones. So here is a post dedicated to fun words. Defenestrate (verb)- to throw (someone) out of a window ex. If you don't be quiet I will defenestrate you! Fun Facts: It was first used in 1619! Also when I taught this word to my cousin and the girl she didn't like they proceeded to threaten to defenestrate each other every day for a week. Rame (noun)- something that is both chaotic and joyful at the same time ex.
