Who Are You Calling A Prat?!

Pratt Institute is a very expensive College in New York that apparently really wants me to join them. They are also one T away from being a British insult.

Prat
noun informal
1. British
an incompetent, stupid, or foolish person; an idiot
2. A person's butt

A little education for you.

Anyway this is the second time Pratt has sent me a letter. I really want to go too. The first time they sent me a letter the big, bold, yellow letters stood out to me:
First to enter my mind was the thought "Who are you calling a prat!?" I was rather offended at first. I legitimately thought (for a very brief moment) that someone had sent me a letter purely to insult me. Looking at the address just confused me, who in Brooklyn New York thinks I'm a prat. Well evidently Pratt Institute thinks that I am Pratt material. I think I'm a Pratt too.

The Good: My grand-mere offered to pay for me to go to College.
The Bad: It's because me and my mom are to poor to afford for me to go to college.
The Ugly: The catch is I can only go to College in the state she lives in (the one me and my mom moved to) because she wants me close.

I know, I sound like a spoiled brat. My grand-mere is offering to pay for my tuition as long as College is in California and I'm complaining because boo-hoo Pratt is in NY. Trust me I know. I feel terrible because I have this amazing opportunity that not many people have, yet I'm complaining. There are people who aren't going to College or having to work a bunch of jobs, or joining the military because it's the only way to afford College. Am I being to picky? I feel like I am.

Pratt sounds great. It's in New York so it's close to a bunch of stuff. It has the major I want, the degree I want requires no SAT scores. But I can't go. Like Cinderella, I cannot go to the ball. Only this time Cinderella can go to other balls and her mom is alive and not evil, also no step-sisters. My magical grand-mere showed up but Cinderella is annoying and picky. The End.

This is depressing and whiny, I'm sorry
(My original intention was just to talk about the school and make prat/Pratt jokes and puns)

  1. Although she said she was going to pay for my College this turned out to be a lie.
