Hey There Demons! It's Me, Ya Boi!

Image
Well I was scrolling through Pinterest when this popped up as an ad. WTF. It was how your pillow was ruining your sleep and i'm just like what? Thanks for the nightmares weirdo who came up with this. Also, may I just point out the horrible editing here? Thank You And Goodnight (Siracha Ramen Is My Dinner)

Lettuce Muncher

Today was a rather slow school day. First hour was a haze of depression and Spanish. In second I learned about the beriberi problem of the 1885 Dutch-Indies. In third I had to copy 15 vocabulary words three times each. Which made my hand cramp. Fourth hour made me feel sick. There was a scene during lunch though. A girl had a spider crawling on her hair. It was crawling like an excited and hopeful adventurer on a journey. I swear it had a spring in it's step. Until it got pushed off her hair and stepped on. Fifth hour I tried reading Maze Runner but didn't really like it. Sixth was math but we had a substitute so I got to play a game with money it (Life) with three other girls. When I got to the 'Stop and get married' part I really wanted to get a pink peg and have a wife but I chickened out and got a blue peg. I was upset and kept wishing I just picked up a pink peg and had a little pink wife in my little pink car to match my pink peg and that pink peg that was my ba

I Am Questioning Everything

Image
Do you ever read or do or hear something that makes you question life, the universe, and everything? I just listened to a song like that. I'm wondering: Who the hell thought of that? Why? Who on Earth did this? My brain was lost in a clouded sea of confusion and some other emotions I can't describe or name. The only way to really know is to listen to it yourself. I triple dog dare you to listen to this Frankenstein's monster of a song . Looking up this song I saw a playlist that began with this song. The name of the playlist was 'Ascend from Hell'. Let me tell you, if something was ascending from hell, this is definitely the song that would be playing. I mean wtf is this?! Also, I should eat. I have an issue where i'll be so caught up in doing something that i'll neglect taking care of myself in order to do the thing. I'll not go the bathroom (I can hold it for a pretty long time) or i'll just not eat (I'm so hungry). Alright, I guess I'l

My Mom Was In A Movie (Kind Of)

Image
First of all I would like to add that my mother is not Debra Winger. In fact she wasn't even in the credits. But she was in the movie. So my mom's school got asked if any teenagers wanted to be bused off to be in a movie (and miss school) my mom was like 'heck yeah!' and signed up. My mom got bused with a bunch of other High Schooler's to a professional sports stadium in LA. There were a bunch of kids from a bunch of different High Schools. My mom was in her Sophomore or Junior year at the time. They were told to sit in the back and be really enthusiastic. Also to not wear stripes because camera's and stripes disagree. The crowd was so blurred out in the movie however that it's just a mass of colors. So they got to see filming, and see Billy Crystal yell at a guy who was like, three times taller (or two Billy Crystals stacked on top of each other) than him because Billy Crystal is short. For lunch they were given sack lunches with lame food inside (my

Sherlock Holmes Is Awesome

Image
Stayin' Alive- Bee Gees When I was first introduced to the BBC show Sherlock I had already been reading the Sherlock Holmes stories. Study In Scarlet, The Speckled Band, were my favorites. I was at first upset that Benisnoot Cumberpatch did not look how I imagined Sherlock Holmes in my head. Nor did Martin Freeman look how I imagined John Watson. I quickly became enraptured by the show however. I enjoy both the original stories and the TV show immensely. Who doesn't love a good mystery? Of course before I found Sherlock Holmes I found the Great Mouse Detective, which is a great movie. And before the Great Mouse Detective was Scooby Doo. I guess I've always loved mysteries. I'm pretty sure the only reason I read Study In Scarlet was because I needed to read something for English class. Once I became a fan and found out about the insanely long time between seasons I became very upset. The actors would be way to old and I would be raising my children into adulthoo

A Combination Of Songs And Stock Photos

Image
I am finally allowed to listen to music. Yay! So in celebration I am going to make another playlist of songs and also show more stock photos. I was rather surprised that my stock photo post got so popular. In fact, it is my second most popular post with 12 views so far. Plus, looking up stock photos is funny. So without further ado, music and stock photos:   As The World Falls Down- David Bowie   Take On Me- a-ha   Under Pressure- Queen & David Bowie   Piano Man- Billy Joel   We Didn't Start The Fire- Billy Joel   It's The End Of The World- R.E.M.   Ballroom Blitz- Sweet   Bad Reputation- Joan Jett   Carry On My Wayward Son- Kansas   Immigrant Song- Led Zeppelin Rasputin- Boney M. Alright mister put the gun down. Why are you threatening your computer anyway? What did it do to you? Or did his FBI agent overstep their boundaries? Maybe it's updating to the next version of Windows. Just calm down and step away from the laptop. And why wear sunglasses

The Plot Twist of 2017

Image
This is a completely true story. I've mentioned it before in Crushes: And My Terrible Luck With Them (Part Two) but here is the extended version of that story. This took place in the second semester of my sophomore year. I officially met Al and became friends with him in the second semester of sophomore year. Before that I had seen him around but never really talked to him. Which of course is part of living in a small rural town. You see people, you know them, but you don't necessarily know them. The first time I saw him we were in middle school. He is a year older than me so when I saw him I was in, I think 7th grade and he was in 8th. I thought he was super cute. When I started High School I saw a bit more of him. I didn't have any classes with him but I saw him around in the hallways. He was in JROTC (basically military class) and he was in band (he plays the saxophone). In the second half of 10th grade I had a Culinary Arts class with him. The previous semeste

I Would Say Goodnight But I Don't Want To Sleep

Image
So it's about the time of night where I would say Goodnight and make my way to bed. Then sleep. However, I have decided that I don't want to sleep tonight. Why you may ask? Because I am afraid of having a nightmare. That's right. I'm so scared of having a nightmare I don't want to sleep. Last night I had two nightmares. One was about someone I love dying and the other wasn't very long but had something that definitely scared me and if I had been awake and seen that I probably would have had an anxiety attack. Alright, emotional baggage time. I have something to confess... I have PTSD. So you might wonder. What is PTSD? PTSD is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It basically happens when you experience something so traumatic that your brain can't handle it. There are three main types of symptoms. Re-experiencing the trauma through intrusive distressing recollections of the event, flashbacks, and nightmares. Emotional numbness and avoidance

Back To School Senior Year Blues (And Ken Dolls)

Image
Senior year. The time for nostalgia, hard-work, and applying for Colleges before November because that's apparently where the deadline is. It's also the year for Senior Projects. I feel doomed. Especially with the haunting failure of the last school year and this summer. Jeez, let's lighten the mood here. I made a post before this but where's my proper welcome back post? That's more like it! Now cue the Jazz band, cake, and fireworks! Oh, Jimmy Fallon host of the Tonight Show, what are you doing here? Alright, alright, settle down people let's continue. So, my first week of school was this week. That's right my school starts on August 6th. When does it get out? June. And it starts at 7:15. My last school started fairly early but school started 7:45 and ended in May! Gosh darn it. First week of school... What can I say? Well Rue is back and rides the same bus as me. Beautiful (and straight) as ever. I don't mind crushing on straight people though b

I Am In Fact, Still Alive

A quick update: I have not abandoned my blog, or died, or  been abducted by aliens. Also, my mother has not sold me to the gypsy's. They wouldn't take me. So long story short my mom banned me from all use of the internet since last Friday and it is only today that I have gotten use of my blog back. And only my blog. I can use the Internet for two things: 1. Blog 2. School work So I can't even listen to music. Why this is happening is a whole long blog post but since I stopped my daily posting my viewers have dropped to zero. So sorry people (please come back). I hope I haven't let you down. It's good to be back, (Home sweet blog)

I Should Enter A Cooking Competition TV Show

Image
For lunch I decided to make myself some pizza bagels. Not the pre-made frozen ones but bringing out the bagels and pepperoni kind. I felt very proud of myself making them, ooh I'm using Parmesan instead of mozzarella I feel fancy (I use Parmesan because I am lactose intolerant and mozzarella makes me really sick). Then I was putting parsley and garlic salt and black pepper, as well as my 'spicy stuff' that I put on noodles and pizza: I love this stuff it's great. Anyway, I was putting stuff on my pizza bagels and popped that sucker in the toaster oven until the cheese melted. I used two bagels so I had four pizzas and I realized I only wanted three. So I gave my extra to my mom who said it was delicious. She was right. I greatly enjoyed my pizza. There you go lactose digesters, lactose intolerant people can enjoy pizza too, we just need Parmesan. Or Lactaid pills. OMG, Lactaid pills are amazing. They allow me, a very sensitive lactose intolerant to enjoy dairy prod

Phantom Of The Opera Is Fantastic And Has One Of The Best Soundtracks And You Can Fight Me

Image
There are too many people who don't know about Phantom Of The Opera. Everyone should know about it. When my best friend once texted me that she had finally watched the movie after me pestering her about for what seemed like years and I felt an immense sense of pride. She loved it. I mean who wouldn't? It has the best love triangle ever and Rock Opera . Oh you heard me, Rock Opera . You know what's better than hearing people reach crazy high notes and sound good? Having drums and electric guitar along with it. Don't believe me? Phantom Of The Opera Theme Music of the Night (a.k.a. the one that makes me swoon) All I Ask Of You (a.k.a. one of reasons the love triangle is so difficult for me to pick one ship) and finally  Point Of No Return (a.k.a. the risque one that makes me blush listening to it) This musical was made the genius, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber (Yes, he is a sir! Officially). In case that doesn't have you hooked here are some pictures: From the m
